Indonesia begun studying the Russian market a week ago, to which they’ve concluded that there are business opportunities in that market for their small and medium companies and it would be opportune to expand their business beyond the Indonesia borders during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Coupled with the growing successes from the previous facilitations of business match-ups between Indonesian private sectors and overseas counterparts, they believed that they could help their private sector to achieve even more with the help of the Indonesian embassy that is located in Russia.
At the moment, they are working with the Indonesian embassy, to prepare programmes to promote Indonesian products, organise exhibitions, facilitate business matchings and trade agreements and even conducting a trade mission when times are ready.
Apart from this, Indonesia has also organised one webinar for the Indonesian companies to learn about the strategy of penetrating into the Russian market, local rules and regulations and also to source for relevant market opportunities. Moving forward, the target is to organise as many as 25 webinars, spread evenly over the entire 2021, to accustom the Indonesian companies to the Russian market.
