The Russian government, together with the Foundation for the Development of Internet Initiative, has launched a business accelerator programme to nurture technology entrepreneurs who are developing products that are related to chatting apps, audio and video services, games and recommendation websites and others.
Mentors and experts will be assigned to work with the selected entrepreneurs through daily workshops and consultation sessions that could last for several months.
The business accelerator programme will assist entrepreneurs to find new growth pathways, clear regulatory bottlenecks, refine the products and help with business development. The intent is to develop technology entrepreneurs’ competencies, improve their business revenue so that it becomes more attractive to investors.
Applications for participation in the accelerator programme are accepted on the website of the Internet Initiative Development Fund and will last until June 10. Entrepreneurs who have passed the competitive selection will be able to take part in the programme free of charge. Plus, the intellectual rights to the products will remain with the entreprenuers.
